Goshen Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Driver

Ready-Mix Truck Driver – Kuert Concrete Inc.

Kuert Concrete ready-mix truck drivers are part of the Teamsters Local Union 364 and are bound to the collective bargaining agreement currently in place with the Company.  This includes an agreed upon current wage of $24.15/hour,  with a 90-day probationary period wage of $21.15/hour.  Drivers are eligible to participate in the Kuert 401(k) plan, with the company matching contributions up to a certain percentage, based upon years of service with the Company.  Drivers are enrolled in the Teamsters Health Plan with a weekly health insurance premium co-pay of $25.  Other benefits include paid time off according to years of service, paid holidays, and a uniform and safety boot allowance.

Job responsibilities include the physical ability to routinely lift 50 pounds and to climb up and down a ladder.  Drivers must have a customer service attitude, a willingness to go above and beyond normal job responsibilities, and are expected to keep their truck clean and well-maintained.  Shift hours vary according to demand and season, but drivers are generally assigned very early morning reporting times and may often work well into the evening.  Ready-mix truck drivers are assigned one load at a time and are required to safely deliver the load of concrete to the customer, unload the concrete according to customer requests, and return to the concrete plant to be loaded again.  New hires are enrolled in a 2 week driver training program where they will be paired with a senior ready-mix driver.

A class B CDL with air brakes is required to operate a ready-mix concrete truck.
